APHACA – A Stadium In Motion

When APHACA took over Parken Stadium in Copenhagen, it wasn't just about the music. It was about creating an experience that filled every corner of the stadium.

An empty stadium. Flightcases rolling in. Crews on the floor. And a stage that's still a long way from showtime. In just a few days, this very space would be filled with 50,000 people for APHACA's biggest concert to date.

But before the crowd could take over Parken Stadium, an ambitious production had to come together. Piece by piece, system by system, movement by movement.

Working alongside the wider production team, MOTOR Stage Automation was responsible for bringing the moving elements of CMY's lighting and stage design to life.

And with 50,000 people waiting for the show, every detail mattered.

Pantographs In Motion

What eventually became a dynamic visual experience started with rigging, installation, programming and testing.

At the heart of MOTOR's automation setup were six 10.2-metre M systems, supported by MOVEKET chain hoists and i-Motion control technology.

6 × M:SPECIAL Pantographs — 10.2 m
Supported by 18 × MOVEKET chain hoists.

16 × MOVEKET chain hoists
For the B-stage LED system.

12 × HOFFORK MLT4 — 3.0 m sections
With supporting rigging and mounting equipment.

MOVEKET i-Motion Control Systems

Made Possible Together

A production like APHACA at Parken takes more than great ideas and the right equipment. It takes people who know how to make it all work together.

What started as equipment on an empty stadium floor is now part of an experience shared by 50,000 people.
